ten years.

tomorrow marks ten years for my shop on Etsy. considering how much of every day i spend working on my shop/shipping/communicating through Etsy, this sort of feels like it's not an accomplishment at all. it feels like a day job of its own, so separate from what i wish my day looked like

I just comparison shopped for a hammock on ebay and etsy, hoping to find something actually vintage or handmade that would be worth buying. Instead I found a hammock which different sellers ship from China for $11, LA for $14, or on Etsy for $54. The exact same product with the same product photos. And there is no way to complain about Etsy, because they decided factory-made is the same as handmade. Total sellouts.

I love you, I no longer love Etsy. (I do love that it introduced us though.) Viva la early days of Etsy!!
