I think all of us who have been posting recently in here are new, myself included.
As for Anne Rice, the most recent book that I know of is called Vittorio the Vampire. It seems that unfortunately for us, she is doing what Mel Gibson did before making the movie The Passion of the Christ; saying that all her future work will be in the service of the Christian god. So much for tons more vampire books :
