And now I'm shivering under my duvet because the house is so cold; we don't have any loft insulation (yet!) and none of the windows are double-glazed. No joke, I must say "Brr, it's cold in here..." etc etc at least four times a day. AMAZING.

I hardly remember anything about the film, but I'm pretty sure I'll be quoting that bit for the REST OF MY LIFE.

Cold is right, I'm continuously moping around the apartment with a blanket wrapped around me!

I don't think I do, but I'll try to take some! I'm guessing you won't have the time to visit over Christmas?

Would LOVE to visit, esp cos I'm assuming it's in the COUNTRYSIDE? I haven't seen countryside in months and a wintry long walk would be amazing *_* Sam and I were talking about visiting and I think if we do it'll have to be the 27th? Cos we leave Leic on the 28th. Is it fairly easy to bus to? I can't drive cos no insurance :(

Yes, countryside! I haven't actually been on a proper countryside walk yet but it's not far.

Sadly two problems with the 27th - we're probably going to visit our Nan that day, and it's a Sunday which means no buses. :((( I guess the only other option would be Xmas Eve, you could bus here in the morning (the bus ride is super long though, over an hour from St Margaret's) and we all bus back to yours in the evening for dinner. (Or we could have dinner here, but then I'd feel like we'd be ~shunning your mum because we've had it at yours for the past few years. Plus you'd have to taxi back.)

... unless you're busy that day, in which case we probs can't do anything.
