Uhh, foreshadowing much? Marguerite can read stuff there on the walls but doesn't know how? Either something wacky is going on or there is foreshadowing happening.

I kinda forget that we don't really share a brain because we're always on the same page, and so on rare occasions, even though logically I know you couldn't possibly know something, I'm all confuzzled that you're not aware of it, regardless

Yeees... That is slightly a problem. Don't feel too bad about it though, it took me a minute to realize earlier that you didn't just magically know my thoughts on the episodes unless I actually said something.

Just because we've only heard of the Ori and the Alterans doesn't preclude other sects of ascended beings from existing, right?

Exactly. Also, I'm really liking this concept. And I kinda watched Resurrection under the giggling assumption that Osric was an evil half-ascended dude kind of like Anubis was. [It was Anubis, right ( ... )

LMAO. That's way too hilarious, so I'm not the only one making this mistake. And yes, while I wish I could magically tune into your brain's frequency and share in your responses to the eps, you gotta actually type your thoughts down, lol.

It was indeed Anubis and that is a great parallel. I'll have to remember that when I rewatch it. [Boy, the Ancients pissed me off- they keep frakking up and refusing to fix their mistakes. Letting Anubis return with his powers? EPIC FAIL ( ... )

Well if we're gonna be cylons I should just be able to project them, am I right? :P

You'd think they could at least fix that. Fat lot of good they are for all the self-righteous glowiness. The Asgard were at least somewhat helpful.

I'll check out that series though! It sounds pretty cool to me, and technobabble = ♥

Sent you an email back. Stop worrying about other writers, girl. There's always somebody better at something, just focus on doing your best.

Okay, the reply width was reduced to a scant few millimeters on the other page so I moved it on over here...

I saw the borgprincess a couple days ago when I tagged you wrong or something. I have this thing about checking people's lj-names.

Oh, must've been for that 'make my day' thing? 'coz, yeah, I was checking people's names and a good thing too, because I accidentally mistyped one...*facepalm*

I am seriously still beating myself up about borgprincess- I didn't realize it was me for the longest time...I even pm'ed 'her' at one stage just for the hell of it...and then one day, I logged into that account by accident and it hit me...'Gee, how did I log into some random person's account using MY password? And isn't it funny how we have almost the same username? And a few similar interests... oh...wait...' *lightbulb moment*

When we mention the things we let these guys get away with because of their significantly awesome significant others, are we referring to Bill Adama and that mustache? The pimp!stache...oh dear...I had so much ( ... )

Lol, we're crushing our LJs under the weight of our comments.

That's too awesome though, I'm sitting here chuckling over it. Not sure how you managed to forget an lj, but I almost/sorta did that. I should go see if I can even remember the username.

and I told myself to get over it. Thank god it left when she returned, though.

*nods* My personal theory is that she issued an executive order to lose the appropriately named pimp!stache. =D
Besides, nobody likes stache-burn...

I'm really warming to it now, lol. I don't care about realism, I would like to be undefeated and invincible in my scheming. >:P

Good grief, it's possible I'm creating a monster here. But a bigger question on my mind is why on earth were they profiling cartoons? Because the amount of love I have for Bugs Bunny cannot be changed, and I say he's awesome, so there.

About the scenes regarding Roxton's brother, I have to agree. It's like a combination of both the events of Cave of Fear and what she said.

Like, 'people think crap about me, well, I just have to ( ... )

I joined LJ to stalk chat to this chick about her SGA vid to Strange and Beautiful which is what started me on vidding, actually, because it was so cool. I think it was Jen/Phrenitis?

After that, I didn't really have much to do with LJ, it was only after the Sparky thread was dying down on GW that Sapphy was like, 'Come party over at LJ' that I returned, but it'd been months and I forgot about my old account, because I only used it the once or so. And thus this comedy of errors was born. *eyeroll*

Besides, nobody likes stache-burn...

HEE, you just reminded me of the new X-files movie! I need to get a copy, I can't quote any of it. *pouts*

Good grief, it's possible I'm creating a monster here.

Don't worry, the responsibility isn't solely yours. :P I've lost count of how many people have said the same thing to me- the monster keeps growing, little by little, lol. Although I think you've fed it more than your fair share...

But a bigger question on my mind is why on earth were they profiling cartoons? 'coz in the second [?] season ( ... )

Yeah, I've seen her around LJ sometimes. Early Sparky! ♥

And one of my friends from ff.net is responsible for me being on LJ, she was always going all, joiiiiiin meeeeee. And, as we've already established, I'm highly susceptible.

XF2 *SQUEEE*
I should watch that again, I haven't seen it in a few months.

but I thought it was hilarious they couldn't stop profiling, even in their downtime.

*squishes them for being workaholics and adorable*

And there are themes that you don't see or understand til after rewatching all three seasons.

I totally believe this, there is something afoot and there are clues being laid out. *nods*
I haven't seen Prophecy yet, but I downloaded the zip file so I could make icons after I do and it's like twice the size of the others. I am gleeful over this.
Possibly, I know a teeny bit of what happens in the finale *sads*
Erm, why's Marguerite in a leather outfit? In any case: HEEEEE!

I've changed my mind, I'm putting it down to my freakish powers of persuasion, 'coz I don't want to lose you to another fandom so soon! Resist the Merlin crowd! Say NO to peer pressure!

Ha, that makes ME gleeful. One of my better decisions, linking you to a photo gallery! I don't think I had nefarious intentions at the time- I didn't know you were an iconmaker at that point, I believe- but HEE, I love how it worked out so well!

Possibly, I know a teeny bit of what happens in the finale *sads*

Oh, well, yeah, that's awful, but it- funnily enough- wasn't what I meant. It was just filmed/written/edited in a lame-ass, crappy, cringe-inducing way. It's up there with Blood Lust, although the cringe factor was high throughout that ep, whereas the finale only sucked in the last few minutes.

Erm, why's Marguerite in a ( ... )

Just say no? It's not like Merlin is crack. Well, not that type anyway :P

I don't think I had nefarious intentions at the time

Uhh, is that even possible? You and your nefarious intentious are quite well known, I'd say. Hee.

It's up there with Blood Lust, although the cringe factor was high throughout that ep, whereas the finale only sucked in the last few minutes.

Okay, will keep this in mind. Most things about Blood Lust were strange, I agree. There needed to be some apologies, methinks. Honestly, Roxton.

Amazons? Oh my. They really do have everything on the plateau. Though that's less surprising than some of the things I've seen, lol.

*hugs* Okay, good to know. I won't start worrying right away then xD
I'm gonna be gone all day Saturday anyways, but Sunday I might be around. Or I may sleep in and marathon again in the afternoon, that was fun last week.

IKR?! That pissed me off enough I went and found a meme that I could use to vent my frustration at the lack of resolution to this scene, lol. Out of all the things happen on the show, that was the moment I picked to edit. The foundation of TLW is their relationship and that something like this could happen and not be addressed is RIDICULOUS.

It actually infuriates me more than the lack of Sparky resolution in Conversion. The rationale, I think, was that Shep was mostly human when he assaulted Teyla, and they didn't want to make it seem like it's okay to go around sexually harassing team members, but with Elizabeth, he was mostly bug!Shep, and we expect creepy monsters to attack people, so whatever.

I won't start worrying right away then xD

If I disappear for more than a week...call Scotland Yard. :P

Yay for marathons! *anticipates spamminess* >:D

ITA, with both the bit about TLW and about SGA. With regard to Blood Lust, the fact that it was so early in the series really doesn't matter much. It goes against everything I see of John's character to simply say nothing about the incident. At the very least they'd have to acknowledge it at some point, even though he wasn't in his right mind.

And with SGA, that's one more thing they handled poorly [read: not at all.]

If I disappear for more than a week...call Scotland Yard. :P

Which is why I love Pam's Blood Lust 'missing scene' so much, it totally could've happened. It fills the vacuum for me, anyway.

Marguerite's got abandonement issues, and all the world has done is try and screw her. So much like Vala, she's turned around and tried to screw it back.
Now she's building tentative relationships with these people, but some of them choose not to examine the conflict between what she says and what she does. From what I'm seeing, she cares a whole lot more than most people choose to see and a whole lot more than she says.

*dies* Your entire analysis was made of win, but this in particular, I love. Articulate, much? *squishes*

In a way, she may see it as an advantage if they underestimate her compassion and caring because then she becomes an unknown quantity- they can't plan out what she's going to do in a given situation.DUDE. In one comment, you've helped me make peace with something that's been bugging me forever! I love her so much that I want her to get recognition, but...I mean, she finds dealing with Roxton and his expectations and efforts to break through her walls tough enough, and how much more overwhelming would it be if ( ... )

*squishes* I'm so glad it made sense then, I always wonder if when I'm saying this stuff it'll translate well for everybody else.

I didn't think that maybe SHE wasn't ready for that either. If they all assumed she was this wonderful, altruistic, saintly person and expected her to act like it, that'd probably send her fleeing for dear life from the treehouse.Despite the seriousness of this conversation, I had to giggle at the mental image you just presented. I'm sorry, I had to, really. That's exactly what I was thinking though, because having all of them expect her to suddenly be St. Marguerite the Sweet would definitely be too much to deal with ( ... )

Hee! I totally didn't mean to be amusing, but lol, you opened my eyes to the humor of it all. ST MARGUERITE THE SWEET! *giggle!splodes*

Lol, I was standing on the balcony the other day being thinky and trying to figure out the mysteries that are complex characters in a cheesy, yet wonderfully complex show.

ZOMG, YOU HAZ A BALCONY?! *envies* I want a balcony too...all my ships seem to go ponder deep thoughts on balconies...

Sometimes men have stupid ideas, this is a fact of life that must be dealt with. xD

We sound so jaded for women so young! :P

One question- What subtlety? :P

*covers eyes* I KNOW, GOOD POINT. It's funny, I actually found another meme the other day where I also made some comment to you about watching TLW and it was like...gee, coming on a bit strong there, no? But it paid off, so I shall be smug. ^_^
