North of here, in what as known as the Tug Hill Plateau, they are expecting 5 FEET of snow today. And maybe more tomorrow. Add that all up with the high winds and very low windchill and, thanks, I'm really glad I don't live there.

We are warm but tired of snow. You stay warm, too!

I love how you've elaborated on you mom's memories.
It was sweet reading about her childhood on the farm. I hope both your parents continue.

The weather in the US is all over our news here also...it is just unbelievable how it's extended over such a huge part of the country.The snow you Great Lakes folks are having is something out of my childhood. Stay safe and warm.

This is definitely more reminiscent of my childhood in the northeast Ohio snowbelt. Not that I miss it. I certainly DON'T!

We are warm but oh-so-tired of all this. :)
