There the marinade for the water chestnuts is prepared. Just need to finish getting ready and throw the chestnuts into the marinade for the ride to the Bryants'. Oh yes, must not forget the bacon. I would be very sad if I forgot the bacon.

The bruschetta is made and in the fridge. Just need to start the marinade for the water chestnuts but they only need to marinate for 30 mins so I will do that before I leave. Need to iron and have a little something something before heading out. Cooking is so much more pleasurable than dealing with the previous condo owner's dumbfuckery.

I was going to post how I have everything for the party. Then I just remembered I forget the french bread. I know what I will be getting at the grocery tomorrow morning before I go for my haircut at 11:30.
