I wanted to sell off two of my ps2 games, now I have to wait til tomorrow *grumble* dammit, why couldnt the necessary shops like supermarket be open? even soliders do have necessaries, right?!? (and also to have the opening hour of 12-1 pm of course, not early during the anzac ceremonies)

Yeah I know it was, I called at 2pm to check and it was definitely still closed -- I figured it would be since its a government service but you can still hope, right? XD There was a huge parade down Melbourne Street at around 3/4pm so I doubt anything apart from The Store was open anyway. ^^

So it was fairly average then? Poo, I was hoping it could live up to the awesome memories I had from childhood.

i would definitely say it was worth seeing, on the big screen even. tho there was way too much talking and not quite enough fighting, the plot was far-fetched (yes, more so than even mutant vigilante skater sewer turtles), and we were surrounded by people who'd never lived in a world without the simpsons, or the internet, or in some cases, the new star wars trilogy.

Oh god, when I read that I was horrified. To live in a world where that has ALWAYS been six Star Wars movies?! O_O;;;;;

I enjoyed TMNT... because thinking about it, the things about TMNT I remember from childhood were all FIGHT SCENES LAME ONE LINERS MIKEY HURR HURR YES MY SON, etc. type things. 83 (I just thought the way they did Master Splinter was totally adorable.)

April and Leo have always had that weird tension, haven't they? @_

OH MY GOD THEY DID!

When I was little I had a Leonardo figurine, that I'd gone out and gotten a red-haired doll to be April for him... XD

LOL!

So cute.

But that puts me off, knowing they've screwed with April. If I go out to watch anything then it'd have to be Transformers. Or the new Pirates. Or Spiderman 3.

Though it's just so easy to wait for it to hit my nice 69cm tv. :D

They haven't really screwed with her, I'm assuming she switched career paths at some point in the continuing series, so thats easily explained. ^_^
