The snow was beautiful on Monday, and I could appreciate it for I knew its time was short. Just three days later, it is gone, and our forecast is for sunshine and a high of 82°F/27.7°C.
Look how thickly crusted the branches are with snow. We're very fortunate we didn't get much snow, or there would have been breakage.
I removed the color from my first photo to highlight the blue of the glass ball; I gave a blue tint to my middle photo, because, otherwise, the snow on the branches melted into the white sky; the last photo I left alone. The final photo is in full color, as you can see by the bit of green house to the right. The picture shows the colors of winter here: white, gray, brown. No wonder we are excited for spring and the bright, happy colors we've missed all winter!
