I've been negligent in posting stuff, and the reason is because of my job. We've been short staffed, which has meant me spending an aggravating amount of time staffing the career center. So I'm at Sadlacks in Raleigh, my favorite venue to play at in Raleigh, and I'm having a beer, and might have another. And yeah, I do have to go back to work. Eventually. But fuck 'em. Fuck 'em all. Tuesday.

Seeing the headline that the president, despite the credit downgrade, still thinks of the United States as a "Triple A Country" reminded me of those Kiwanis Club bumper stickers that say "My Child is a Super Kid!"

So here at work, the Information Services Department has decided to try out a new firewall system for the computers in the career center. Why on earth they would choose the computers in the career center, where the average user struggles to understand how to log into their own e-mail, as test subjects for their new software, absolute eludes me.
