I've been watching a ton of tv during this hellscape summer, and I have random opinions about them. YMMV.

The King's Affection (Netflix): 3 out of 5 starsSo, there's a lot of foreign content on streaming services now, which is both great and terrible. Great because it exposes western audiences to different types of entertainment, genres and actors

The chips with chopsticks thing is so funny to me because it’s been a thing for decades. I didn’t realize people still didn’t know about it.

J.J. higher than she’s ever been in her life whilst Emily is still functional af (meaning HIGH TOLERANCE), is my favorite thing ever that we’ve learned about Emily. Girl can’t hold her liquor, but cannabis is her jam.

I still don’t like Luke. I liked Matt better. I find Luke boring.

Speaking of boring, I don’t care about Voit, the dude Garcia dated, Tara’s girlfriend, or Gideon’s ex wife.

I love the cursing.

I liked Adam on CSI: Miami. Honestly, now that I think about it, it’s the ONLY thing he’s done that I liked him in. Oh wait. There was a really cute Christmas movie for Paramount+ a few years ago that I really liked him in. But that’s it. I just find him really boring, and the Morgan Replacement doesn’t work. I don’t even think he has chemistry with Kirsten, so that part of the replacement bugs me, too. It reminds me of when Paget left the second time and they tried too hard to shoehorn in Tripplehorn. I ended up hating her character and was ecstatic when she left.

I much prefer Pothead Emily to Nicotine Emily.
