I find it funny how I end up having to do research for the simplest little fics - I've even done research for drabbles for gawd's sake! And the variety of subjects is fascinating, isn't it? Whoever said fandom wasn't educational!

When we went on the coach tour in September I would do lots of planning in my head and then leap off the coach during the 'comfort break' to write it all up. People would come over and ask what I was writing. I settled for 'I'm keeping a note of my thoughts as we go along, so I don't forget them' and then nodded when they said 'like a journal'. Technically it was correct, just that my thoughts were on how much I could make X hurt and how Y was going to comfort him.
