So, there's this DUDE who sings in a manner that many DUDES do at the current moment (i.e. breathy and angsty) and he's working on a weird project where he takes popular songs and converts them from major to minor keys and in the process it changes everything about the performance.

His voice reminds me SO MUCH of Jason Mraz OMG. But that aside, it's an interesting cover! I don't think I've heard this song in this style before. And it is fascinating to me how music can affect people so deeply, and also, as you say, how those feelings can change so drastically when the tone is changed. I think one of the best examples of this for me is Ben Howard's cover of "Call Me Maybe". So haunting.
