The funny thing is, I was out and about and my email alert had gone off so I checked it. Someone had referenced me in a comment over on jorjafox.net saying that I'd mentioned Doug in one of my comments and therefore they had spiraled down into darkness and despair, thinking Sara was running off with him. I went to check my comment and it had nothing to DO with that at all and I started to think about how so much of operating on the internet requires things like the ability to read more than one word at a time and then put those words together because many of us do like to actually write out our thoughts. This person had operated on that short term memory rather than actually thinking critically about something that was said. So this video completely fits into my life today.
It's one of the reasons I actually enjoy livejournal. Tumblr is nice and distracting, but livejournal forces me to READ what's going on and then think about it. It's good for my brain.
