I've spent a week in Austin, and it has improved my live greatly. I've spent almost every night at Flipnotics, and I've spent as much time as possible with the friends I've missed. Life is relatively good right now. When I woke up this morning, there was snow on the ground which is level 10 exciting for me. I was really really really stressed out yesterday, asking all of my friends if they were going to vote and hearing 9 out of 10 of them say no. Everything is going great. Work is good, school is good, Gary's good... I think I aced the test I took this morning, or at least got close to acing it. We've moved to our new house and I love love love it. It is twice as small, but in better shape and the bathroom is green. That makes me happy. I used to hate green, but i guess i changed my mind. School is amazing. Best decision we have ever made. We spent spring break in Deerborn, Michigan teaching english and citizenship classes to Arabs from Yemen, Lebanon and Iraq. I don't even know the answers to all of those questions on the citizenship test ( Read more... )

I am so freaking homesick it isn't even funny. I love my job and I really like the people I'm meeting, but I miss Austin so so soo soooo soooo bad.
