Weekend Update

This weekend was one of those wonderful rare weekends where I got to relax, and have a good time, and not really do much of anything. Saturday Daniel and I were wonderfully lazy and didn't get up until around 10 am, and then I made french toast. Ooo. The Boys for Pele project sounds awesome!

I orignally got the idea from some ancient interview where Tori said that Little Earthquakes was a diary, Under the Pink was a painting, and Boys for Pele was a novel. After that I kept listening to see if I could find the characters and the plot. Writing stories around songs has always been a favorite writing exercise of mine as well. I did one for "Beauty Queen" a couple of years ago. It's here on my writing journal. Let me know what you think if you get a chance to read it. I got some of the situations and the characters' names from the rest of the album.
