Tuesday morning I get a phone call from a temp employment agency that I am registered with, actually I used to work in their office when they needed extra help. Anyway, they asked if I wanted to work two hours away in Jackson washing cars for the next four to six weeks. First words that came to my head were "Hell no!" But then they told me the ( Read more... )

I lived in Jackson for awhile, had an absolute ball while doing it too :P It's expensive as all get out, but you know you'd meet people from all over the world while living there. My aunt and uncle live there, she's a park ranger and he's a shrink, and they wouldn't live anywhere else in the world.

Sigh, I'm homesick dammit. :( I never thought I'd miss the wide open space and the endless mountains, but I'd kill to breathe some good, fresh mountain air right now.

Do me a favor and hit Pearl Street Bagels the next time you're in Jackson. Tiny little bagel store but their bagels are out of this world. Enjoy one for me, k? :D

I love Jackson!! But it is really expensive. They actually offered me a job today. I don't think I am going to take it though. It would be so expensive living there and I don't have a reliable enough car to make the trek to and from home. I would be stuck in Wyoming forever!! :)

I will definetly check out the bagel place one of these times that I am driving. I actually got to drive home today in a nice convertible (I had to put the top down!!) but I had one of the other workers with me, so I couldn't really stop anywhere. I don't think he would mind stopping so we may have to go there one of these days.

They are only open for breakfast and lunch, so maybe one day on your way in, you should stop there.

The only way I could afford to live there was share a tiny little house with three other girls. I had a ball, seriously but making money wasn't that big of priority.

On the plus side, the chance to meet some fabulously wealthy men exists there like no other :D

Hey! I went there last night as we were leaving town. We made it there just in time. Apparently, they're open until 6 on Sundays. They were sooo good! But the prices!! OMG!! I got a 7 grain with ham, roast beef, cream cheese and sprouts for $7.50!! I was kind of in shock after I handed her my debit card. But they did have a bag of day old bagels for free, which of course, I took. I hope that makes it up for the $7.50 bagel sandwich!! :D
