I had my first day of training with Marathoners in Training on Saturday. I was really surprised at the number of people that showed up. They said they had 600 people sign up for the winter session, and given that TWHS auditorium was pretty full, I believe it. In terms of derpy pictures, this is one of my better shots. :) If it was truly derpy, no one would see it.

It's been pretty nice here in Ohio the past few weeks. Not super cold. It was 30F when that picture was taken.

They keep telling us though that it'll get colder and we'll need the wool. When that time comes, I will probably cry. :)

I ran with one of the pace groups in the half marathon last year and stayed with them until halfway through mile 12. But it hadn't occurred to me they'd help with training too! I had a super duh moment when I realized that. But pace groups are awesome. I feel like I need to buy my pace coach something for being so awesome.

Hey, there's a post in the bakery community (which I could've sworn you were a part of, but I'm looking at your info and I guess I was wrong) about a failed attempt at making marshmallows. I knew you had made them a couple times, thought you'd be able to offer up some advice.

I am not, but I am not sure why. They seem to talk about a lot of stuff I'm interested in. I threw in my two cents. Hopefully it'll help.
