[ my mum works in kitchenware at DJs, so i have a tragic appreciation for the good stuff. a tragic appreciation which is also fueled by cooks on the lifestyle food channel. how i envy them all and their le creuset!

hasn't the weather been disgusting? thank christ my parents have air con. the air outside is so humid and thick i swear it feels like something you can actually move your hand through. it is vile. i was so obviously born on the wrong side of the equator. ha. ]

xo.

Have you seen the insane post-Christmas discounts on all the magnificent kitchenware at David Jones? I bought Todd a large, cobalt blue Le Creuset mixing bowl (which is to-die-for; the perfect melding of 'modern' and 'timeless') as part of his birthday present and, although admittedly still exi, it was just about affordable.

P.S. Not to imply DJs is hosting a Sale or anything. Clearly it's a Half-Yearly Clearance.
