Whenever we see Ingrid we indulge in the most amazing array of antipasto. I don't like stuffed olives with anchovies and I'm not that fussed about artichoke hearts in olive oil, so antipasto has always left me cold. But there's things I do like. antipasto yum!
r's mum makes all her own stuff - olives, artichoke hearts, this choko thing that tastes like artichokes!, pickles, capsicum. plus they make cheese and salami and prosciutto and stuff.
i love roasting red capsicum under the grill and mixing it up with olive oil and salt and pepper. yum!
i want to avoid the kiddie crap food too. i think its great when young kids get to try a good variety of food. i have a niece and nephew who are great like that - excellent teaching and encouragement from their parents!
