Gilles: Heed my words, Ryuunosuke. God does not punish humans! He merely toys with their lives! Once, I committed atrocities so numerous that I was like an embodiment of blasphemy in this world. But no matter how many I killed or maimed, my punishment never came! And when I finally paused, I realized my pursuit of the most heinous cruelties had ( Read more... )

I've known from a young age that if there was a God, he was an artist, and he painted everything.

Also, you are not the first person, nor is bluebeard, whoever the fuck that is, to think this way. It's a pretty old philosophy.

tl;dr: cool story bro. c:

I'm gonna need receipts for that, sis. Meaning proof and valid sources.

Also, Bluebeard is written with capitals, since it's a proper name, ty.

And you obviously don't understand the uniqueness of the context of this.

Newsflash: Ryuunosuke is a serial killer and rapist, and Bluebeard (aka Caster or Gilles de Rais) basically did every crime in the crime book, so "it's a pretty old philosophy" = ich don't think soo. Or, well, maybe it is, the general idea of it, but was it started by a serial killer, and was the Prophest a child rapist? I don't think so, sis.

So, once again, I'm gonna need them receipts.

The basic philosophy is just that we go nowhere after we die, so might as well live it up now, and that God is doing all this for fun is, yes, an old philosophy/idea. Nobody invents it, one person just makes it popular. Duh. :]

That's not what the Church of Bluebeard is about. Murder, rape and thievery aren't in most people's ideas of "living it up", nor in any philosophy I've heard of - and yes I've read philosophy books and taken philosophy courses.

You tried it.
