We are getting kokee ready to go see dad. :D We like doing that. Dads gettin a lil bit better. Once he can eat more and keep it down , he can come home. Maybe on a day pass. :D

HI there. This is an update on dad. Dad has been in hospital for nine weeks, and this monday will be ten weeks. He had another drain put in to get rid of any excess fluids and to help him eat more. Today is ok somewhat. I am doing pretty good. I have a dr appointment to talk bout how my thyroid is doing, and stuff like that. BORING. I have a few lil teeny white bumps or somethin on my hand. It happens now and then. It looks like lil bites but i've combed kokee over and nothing, so it's not her fault. I think it's a reaction to something. ( Read more... )

Today I did a mosaic pink, dark pink and purple scrapbook mosaic page. I'll take pics when I can. It's kinda kewl even if i ran out of dark pink and had to use purple. HO HUM. SIgh...it's ok. Dad is out of ICU and into surgical ward, and feeling some stronger. TOmorrow he will sit in the chair and walk around a lil with physiotherapist. He can eat ice chips a lil and popsicle a bit. They will work on how much he eats and how, and once he's able to eat more they will work that up to more gradually, and see how long he can go without too ( Read more... )

Dad is feeling a lil better. He had emergency surgery exploratory last night and perforated his bowel. Pretty gross, and toxic having stuff where it shouldn't be. They got that all cleaned away and he's feeling better and on a comfy level of morphine. Hopefully he'll be out of ICU tomorrow sometime. He's on lotsa tubes right now ( Read more... )
