Death Is Not An Option - A Driving Music Game/Poll

Jan 16, 2007 13:50

I had a lot of fun with last week’s Wedding Poll/Game and it looked like several others did as well, so I figured why not continue with a weekly round of Death Is Not An Option for as long as it amuses us...and by us, I mean me ;)

This week’s game was inspired by a predicament hooloovooobriefly found herself in last week. I’ll be playing along too:

Death Is ( Read more... )

music, quiz, random acts of silliness

Rather than listening only to music I know I'll hate (the MP3 option) or risk ruining a favorite CD for myself through endless repitition, I'll take my chances with the sketchy in and out middle of nowhere radio stations. I do travel through the middle of nowhere often and you can always pick up a random station or two and static-y though they may be, some of them quite entertaining - Alice Cooper's broadcast for example! The most likely static-y middle of nowhere option is country music and I like that unlike most of you - and if it's bad country then it becomes comedic fodder for my passenger and I. I figure that, worst case scenario, my passenger and I can even enjoy making fun of the local rant radio if that is our only option.

I like your attitude! That could indeed be making the best of a bad situation.

One Caviate(sp?) if it happens to be the day that they discover some moderately talented but over rated rock star's body, I may have to choose death myself.

Under this one unlikely circumstance death might indeed be offered as an option.

I'm gonna go with the one CD or tape, 'cause it would be a mix tape of songs I could sing to the woman ;)

Shoot, that was EASY.

You in-love types are so easy to please no matter what the circumstances. I'm very happy for your happiness!

plus, there's always the turning the music off and...distracting the other person option, too :D

There is this option as well. Also, nothing in the rules of this scenario prohibits you from pulling over and...um...er...stretching your legs a bit. You just still have to travel the rest of the distance eventually.
