"The darkness reminds Matt of the emptiness of space. Not actual space, per say, but as in how where there is light, things appear and fill up the space of a room or an environment. It lets you see colour and the things that clutter a room. In the darkness, it makes a room look empty. " such a Matt thing to think :).

"“Maybe you can do it when you’re old enough to have the chance to go to a big city like London, and you can go and flirt with a bloke to do it,” he suggests. “Maybe try Birmingham or Manchester too. Heard they have gay villages and the whole pride parade scene going on.”" ugh Dom, don't be so thick. He wants to kiss you. Don’t tell him to go try in a big city.

"Dom is kissing him." YES!

"The taste of mulled wine and cigarettes never changed, two decades on. It never changed no matter where they go. " that's beautiful.

I love it! I so love first kisses, whether they are done as adults or, like here, as teens. I especially love the teen kind though. The awkwardness and nervous energy because the whole kissing part is new ( ... )

Add some magic mushrooms, and it'll be even more so o u o

It's all baby steps for Matty here. That, and if he wants to ask, we'll have to go through a hell of an obstacle that Matt himself had set up just to deliberately avoid having to ask for it o u o

But in this case, it's more of a 'first kiss with a guy' kind. The kind that takes loads more courage to see it through o u o

And thank you for reading and commenting!

but looking at it in a positive perspective, he has found a way to shut Matt up.

*sniggers* That's worth a lot. ;)

Also:
Dom grins. There are three words that are on the tip of his tongue to respond to that.

“You fucking cunt.
How very romantic this couple is.

And over the years, Dom finds it very handy in various situations. From confirming to their friends that he and Matt are dating, to ensuring that Matt doesn't go WAY overboard with situations and scenarios that are not as bad as he thought o u o

They're assholes to each other. And also in love with each other. They're an asshole couple that we somehow put up with as long as Muse existed o u o

And thank you for reading and commenting!

I can imagine. Or when he wanst to go to sleep and Matt is running through the newest conspiracy theory…

Asshole couples are best. :P They're cheesy in their own right. ;)

When worse comes to worse, it was either the death glare or shag him silly. o u o

I am almost reminded of Shevine for that exact same reason. Being assholes to one another, but will defend each other to the death if someone hurts one of them o u o

Truth be told, I started writing this story WAY before Snowpremacy 2016 came up, and was at around a decent 2,000 word count. I struggled with the prompts at first until a talk with mcsparklez and looking at the story I was working on gave me the idea to use said prompt on it. Pretty much killed two birds with one stone by resolving the issue of what to write AND be able to post the story.
And that's how we got a teen!Muse story of Matt and Dom's first gay kiss o u o

LOL I was also struggling with what to put with the last line! It was either what was written above, or something cliche and cheesy like "I love you." Guess which one did I despise the least o u o

And thank YOU for reading and commenting! I have been waiting for your response to it!

Sorry for not being able to read it earlier, the weekend was quite busy and only just found the time!!

It was very adorable, I'm glad you discovered what to do with it :D
And I loved the last line!! Very different from what's usually there ;)

But you had a good time in that duration before you found the time to sit down and read, I presume. And that's what matters. o u o

They're an asshole couple who bicker to each other like an old married couple. It's the best. o u o

Now I must tackle the Matt in my head for his thing towards rugged looking men. He seems to have developed a taste for it o u o

Ha, Cherry! So very well done. I knew you'd be able to get this done, and you've done it pretty well :D

And don't worry about the Christmas feeling. I think unless you explicitly mention Christmas there's rarely the feel to it, winter-ly is more a thing. And tbh, winter fics read so much more exciting to me. So you definitely hit the nail on the head here.

Thanks so much for taking part this year and for writing this enjoyable story! I might have to re-read at some point ;) xx

I went through it with constant screams in my head, cursing towards my perfectionism and procrastination, worries at being unable to finish the story and editing it before the deadline. All in all, a good experience to put me back on track towards writing and posting fics o u o

I sort of grew up knowing what Christmas is, but never have the tradition of celebrating it. The closest that I ever had to one was having a Christmas dinner in a pub with my club society back when I was at Uni. So like most things, I experience things with the perception of an outside observer o u o

askjdhljkfhd I am not sure what to feel, but thank you for saying that. I don't know how to respond when someone tells me that they go back to my stories from time to time because they enjoyed it o u o;

Nonetheless, I always end the note with the first reply by saying thank YOU for reading and commenting!
