Thank you for these links--

He really understood that people needed to remember how blacks *believed* that they were inferior. And that connection to the past is especially important for poc.

Because unlike white feminists--who can afford to forget about their own feminist past---poc can't hide in white privilege.

And you see what happens in blackfolk-people still believe that--it's rationalized more--but its the same thing.

How do you even begin to tackle that complex? This is why it is humbling to read about a man like that---it inspires you to do more.

Co-signed. When I think about him, I always feel like I'm not doing enough. He was a "role model" in the truest, purest sense of the word and left a formidable legacy.
