And it is quite possible that about 88 years later we could see the first elected woman president and Black VP.

Why? Last I checked they had both opened presidential exploratory committees. Not vice presidential exploratory committees,

True, but there is no way the Dems can run and win with the first Black or woman president in the same year. Meaning that Obama and Hillary both can't be presidential nominees in 2008.

I think as the primary process gets going, we will see an alliance between them form so that the Dem party will not go into the national convention fighting. By doing this, the Dems get Hillary for 2008 and 2012, and then Obama in 2016 and 2020.

Also every presidential run becomes a VP run for the guy/gal who is trailing the leader by convention time regardless of political party.
