[Ragna and Noel have moved from their not-so-crowded apartment to an even-less-crowded house, to cover their tracks during all of the resulting backlash that the whole deal with Nu and Yuber might provide to them; given that Nu actually knows where they lived. And despite the fact that this is the second time he's had to move because of Nu, he's

Giles has become all too familiar with that tone over the last month.
Under normal circumstances, he'd laugh to hear Rachel called anything like a pet name. But here, now...
He has to check. So he leaves a message for Ragna for the next time the man checks his journal.]
...has something happened to Rachel?

Only the same crap that always ends up happening here.

Kidnapping, or [pause - a longer pause than he'd really like, so the rest of the sentence is hasty] is she gone?
Reply
There's a short pause after his answer.] You knew her?

More shouts followed immediately after with the shattering of branches and violent rustling of leaves shook the tree beneath me. My claws dug into the bark, eyes now wide in surprise. Gazing down, I did indeed discover it was caused by an animal...a red-black specimen of a beast called man. My mood began to fall like a stone.]

Dammit...

What the hell?

Well. Noel heard the fail!filter. Having this happen to her before in the past, she has a good idea as to what happened.
Rachel...
She's waiting for you to return, Ragna, outside the front porch.]

He gets home. Long after making the entry on his journal, maybe an hour or two, and comes home bearing a few days worth of groceries. He realized that he doesn't have to shop everyday because they now have the full fridge to themselves.
Catching sight of Noel on the porch is something he didn't expect. Was she worried, or did she... tch. It's probably the latter. He should have made more effort to keep his filter failure on the down-low, dammit. At least he got most of his anger out through venting, but his sinking feeling of sadness? Not so much.
He approaches.] Hey.

To be honest, Noel's not feeling too good about this, either.] ...I-I heard the message.

Then you don't need me to explain it. [Sorry if that came off coldly.]

So he's just been prowling around in vague hopes that Yuber will attack him as one of Luffy's crew or something, and since he's Zoro, said prowling has taken him all over the place...including this particular batch of forest. Where the air is zinging with furious fighting energy, the kind that draws restless Zoros like a moth to flame.
You're being watched, Ragna.]

With a mighty yell, Ragna just sends up a wave of Soul Eater from the ground and into the air using his right hand. That energy just happens to disperse once hitting its peak, and it leaves him just panting. He's been at this for awhile.] Goddammit.

...So you can fight.
[Given that he'd only seen Ragna more-or-less wrestling Luffy and then hanging out on the beach, he wasn't completely sure. 8|]

Ragna doesn't jump once Zoro speaks, but instead just stops his panting and stands up straight. He then turns his head to glance at the voice. One of Nami's crewmates, definitely.] Didn't think I could?

[He vaguely remembers this guy... one of the ones he steamrolled during that one experiment. Looks like he's not taking something very well. In the interest of mutual stress relief and a fair rematch, Kriz will approach carefully.]
Reply
Even while Krizalid approaches, Ragna just keeps his attention focused on the tree he just punched, his fist just staying in its position against it.]

Pardon me.
