Who Watches the Watchmen?

Watchmen Trailer - while not one of my favourite comics, it's undoubtably classic, and one of the best examples of how to make comics for grown-ups. Plus the trailer is just incredibly pretty, and there's a really good cast under all those costumes.

Heroes Season 3 trailer )

Or Mohinder to suddenly be straight.
Is this even possible? Won't the space-time continuum spontaneously implode?

He has a boyfriend with whom he is raising a child!
THINK OF THE CHILDREN! *pets Molly*

I'm in this fandom more for the fanfic than anything else.

:D I KNOW!! What's he thinking being all handholdy with some hussy? The very fabric of the universe is at stake!

I think, like you, I was reading M3 before I'd even seen Season 2. So I was invested in the pairing/domestic situation without needing canon to give me a whole lot. But he sings to her! And *points up* icon! I just need them not to contradict it, and we can all go on happily with the fic. For the fics are so pretty...

Seriously? This I have clearly missed somehow! And is the only thing besides the prospect of Schiff (however dim and unlikely that is now) to make me really want to watche Heroes. I know I should love it, it's just that so far in my on-and-off watching I don't feel the love.

Hee! Need to watch Dr. Horrible as well. Since my entire flist seems close to expiring from the love ... ;)

Edit: Oh, and I LOVE the icon. *g*

*sheepish grin* Okay, well, it would perhaps be more accurate to say that Mohinder and Matt are cohabiting and the guardians of a child related to neither of them. With no canon explanation as to the why. What does Tim Kring want us to assume? He had a flashback episode and still didn't touch it. So I (and a large portion of fandom) shall make our own fun. (Also, the actors are super-cute with each other) And the fic is fab. I still think there are too few apocafic/war-fics/dystopiafics though. In Heroes, not M3. M3 is all about the fluffy domesticity. *glows*

And yes: You Must Watch Dr Horrible. :|

(I like the icon too. The art was Channel 4's outdoor movie stuff, and I was looking to make a slightly more generic icon anyway)

I wasn't impressed with the Watchmen comic either, and yet I was really struck by how good they've made the film look.

Or Mohinder to suddenly be straight.

I think at this point in time he's the only one left that doesn't know!

It is a very pretty trailer. So I guess I'm excited for that reason. Watchmen is, though (whisper it...) one of those things I think is more significant than fun. If you read it you can see where it influenced really heavily what came after. But I am a philistine and would rather be reading X-Men!

*pets him* Mohinder really is a very smart idiot. With terrible taste in friends, so he really should just be thankful for the boyfriend he doesn't realise he has, and stop pretending...

Yes, the trailer is definitely much prettier than the comic was. It was definitely more significant than fun for me too. It was the only comic I've ever read where I felt I had to slog my way through large parts of it.
