I agree! I don't care about Regina, either...not even after the finale. Let me know if you watched tonight before I say more!

Yep we watched! And.. still don't like Regina. She did the right thing tonight, but she's done the right thing before only to turn around and completely undo any good she did, so this is me not holding my breath. :)

And I think Rumple has it all wrong about Henry being his "undoing". The seer never said that Henry would kill him. My guess is that Henry will be Rumple's undoing in that it will be Henry who finally nullifies the "beast" in Rumple. SO he'll be both his undoing and his savior. But I love that it is obvious that Rumple is fighting the urge to hurt Henry because he cares about him. Shows there's a heart in there. :)

And I just had a facepalm of a realization about Owen/Greg and probably Tamara thanks to tonight's ep, LOL (one that it likely took everyone else 5 minutes to realize. I can be slow.. LOL) I am loving the twist on that tale!

Ooh, what's your realization? I'm sort of flummoxed by Owen/Greg and Tamara (it didn't help that Gorendaughter was squeeing about Rumbelle all through the episode! I need to rewatch it...) So who do we think the anti-magic big boss is? The Evil Shadow of Neverland? I assume it's the Evil Shadow that wants Henry...so maybe Owen and Tamara are working for the Shadow, and they grabbed Henry to bring him to Neverland? Maybe they are just ridding the world of all magic so that the Shadow is the only one with magic?

Or is it Wendy Darling? She's like the head of Torchwood, ridding the world of alien magical artifacts/creatures ( ... )

They he, at least, is a Lost Boy. He and his father were "Lost" in Storybrooke and when they sent him away and kept his father, he was basically an orphan and because of that he was "lost". I'll bet Tamara is an orphan too. So she's probably a "lost boy" too. Erin thinks the Shadow is Peter Pan himself. Which would be a really interesting twist on that tale. If Peter and the Lost Boys were the villains ( ... )

In the UK we're up to the episode where Emma and Hook went up the beanstalk.I adore Rushelstilskin (I keep seeing him as a mixture of Dr Rush from Stargate Universe and Rumple!). I don't know yet of course, but I suspect that Henry is Rumple's grandson. Yes? No? I don't mind some spoilers!

I loved Regina in the first series as she was just so eeeeevil!! But she's much more vulnerable in the second series and it's a tad annoying. I'd rather see her as wicked and evil and totally fabulous! Cora's got potential but she just isn't as fabulous as Regina.

If you don't mind spoilers? Yes, Henry is his grandson. :)

With Regina, don't believe everything you see. *nods* (And I'm sorry if you totally got spoiled... in my comments...)

I'm chuckling here, because I am flip-flopped from you. I have given up all hope for redemption for Rumple but like Regina. I think she's definitely messed up, but I still love her flaws and all. On the other hand, for me, Rumple has slipped beyond redemption. It's so interesting to hear what people think, and what I've seen so far is that people tend to love one or the other but not both. If someone loves Rumple, they can't stand Regina; if they love Regina, they can't stand Rumple.

I'm also curious about Growen/Tamara and who they work for. It will be interesting to see where they go with this.

LOL yeah, outside of my roommate, most of my LJ friends like Regina over Rumple. It is interesting to see how different people interpret the same things. :) I think part of my problem with Regina lies in the fact that they didn't really get into her backstory until later and by then it was too late for me. :/

I can't wait to see where it goes next year too. I'm kinda wondering if Owen/Tamara are part of the Lost Boys...

There are lots of Rumple fans over at onceuponaland, and there are lots of Regina fans too. I do wish they had given part of Regina's backstory sooner in S1. But I had an advantage of sorts over people who watched the show from the start - I got a late start and mainlined S1 DVD in a day and a half. It helped to see it in a short period of time rather than waiting week to week (or month to month during hiatus season).

I also ship Regina with one of my favorite characters in another show as a favorite OTP. Given that the other character is definitely an anti-hero, it's not a surprise I like Regina. LOL

It should be interesting to see how they weave the Peter Pan and the Lost Boys tale. I'm still not sure I'm ready to see Peter Pan as a villain. I think I need to find the original novel and read it to see how different it is from Disney's adaptation.

We mainlined Season 1 too via Netflix, then Season 2 via Hulu. I suck at watching things live. LOL The DVR is a great invention. :) I've thought about onceuponaland. We'll see how much time I have now that I am running my own landcomm. LOL

LOL . Any cross shipping I do has a tendancy to happen out of random RP moments.

I'm wondering if that's really Peter, or if it's his Shadow that's evil. (I haven't read the actual novel myself) But in Disney's version, Peter and his shadow were separate, which begs the question. Is that actually his shadow? (and I wonder...is Henry Peter Pan?)
