I have that exact same book, the one with the beautiful wraparound illustrations. Arthur Szyk is magnificent.
And so is JSF, though I haven't yet read Eating Animals.
And so is JD Salinger.
And Lewis Carroll.
And Natalie Babbitt.

and, i haven't actually read Everything is Illuminated or Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close but i've been meaning to... Eating Animals seems very interesting and unlike anything i've ever read, so i had to buy it. i just hope it doesn't gross me out TOO much.
and, the last time i read Tuck Everlasting was probably in 5th grade. i'm curious to know if it still makes me cry.

Please do! Those are two of my favorite books in the entire world; EL&IC in fact, is number one.
I think the last time I read Tuck Everlasting was a few years ago. It actually touched me more than when I was ten years old. It's the sort of book where you just know will stay with you forever. <3
