I keep reading this over and over, and I swear... there's this subtle optimism somewhere within it that I hadn't meant to include... but it happened. And it's there and I couldn't be happier with it.

I think you should mini-fic/fic this episode to death, my dear. And by "think", I totally mean "insist." :)

Agree with Miss M. You got it. The emotion. God, poor Booth - what he must be feeling... it breaks my heart. That's pretty much all I can think to articulate how I feel after this - heartbroken.

As soon as well all get this angst!fic out of our system we're gonna seriously need some fluff to put us back on track.

I totally didn't expect Show to go there. But it did. As much as it hurts to see these two be where they are right now, it's for a greater good. I, am in no way, saying that it wont be a difficult and bumpy ride, but I am definitely saying that I'm glad that this is the particular direction they've decided to make these characters grow.

But let's face it. Even when they in the midst of an argument... or a difficult moment? They never fail to fall more in love. And the beautiful thing about that is that it adds to the heartbreak but gets you thinking about the light at the end of the tunnel.
