I am always a little worried when I post my music on this journal. I tend to assume that most folks don’t care about it. In some ways it’s being that geeky kid back in school again: I assume that aside from the rest of the band geeks that no one else could possibly be interested in what I’m doing.

I miss my time in concert band from High School as well from college. I spent many years also playing the City Band from 7th grade to my Jr year. Many great pieces and even NPR doesn't do Wind Ensemble music any justice nor give it much play time. One piece we did in college was Schwantners ...And the mountains rising nowhere. Now THAT was a hard piece. I'm a brass player (horn), and it was wild.

I kinda disagree with you on Cartoon though- to me it sounds far more like MGM's orchestra than Warner Bros. Regardless, I now wanna see the cartoon it goes with!

I always appreciate and enjoy your music posts, especially when it's your music. I just have little to add other than "Hey! That's nice music!". It just gets its star rating in iTunes and enjoyed in my own little musical universe. :)
