feeling a bit cream crackered at the moment ... I didn't sleep well last night ... I just couldn't switch off my brain! I ended up on the sofa in my duvet trying to bore myself to sleep with American Footbal ... it didn't really work! :( ho-hum ( Read more... )

i didn't go to sleep till three last night/this morning! i would blame the clocks changing, but that makes no sense because my body should have been thinking it was four not three, so i should have been even more tired!

12 miles is a loooong way to go on a bike... It's six for me which is plenty thankyuhvermuch, and originally it was four as I was living closer to work, so I've kind of built it up. Did you mention you could do a bit on the bike then a bit on the train?

Takes me about half an hour to get in - but that's through all sorts of traffic lights and stuff. If there's some decent long flat runs you could probly get it down to about 45 mins for your trip, ie not much longer than the car...

Can you bike one way and train the other or something?

well ... the journey would probably be ... 4/5 miles bike to Fareham train station and then train to Cosham and then a 2 mile bike ride again from Cosham train station to work!

I think it's something I might try next summer when the weather is nice and I have some money to buy a bike!

I should add that you're also a lot fitter than me and as such, I would add at least 15 minutes onto my journey time when compared to yours! ;)

Of course, I'd need to sus out the showers at work here ... I wouldn't wanna be sat at my desk being a sweaty bastard all day!
