have joined a local monday night indoor soccer league with a few of me buddies, the likes of which include tristwax and ruday. the first four weeks is like a 'pre-season' comp, ranking the twelve sides, after that it's smooth crusin through the season proper til we dont make the finals at the end of the year ( Read more... )

yeah it was ace fun, except fopr the fact that i was fucked halfway thru the first match, and i started on the bench. i'm as fit as a fiddle, if the fiddle's been run over repeatedly by a mack truck or something.

hell, i knew i would be at least! but im spending the next three months training the fuck out of my body so that by the time we play our final match and the wooden spoon is well and truly in our hands, i'll be fit.

for the record we lost the first game 7-0, the second 3-0 (we improved! maybe)
