After a time, trees' capacity for turning CO2 into O2 begins to decrease. So it's more like the longer it exists, the less useful it is. People would probably be the same way, with a subtle deterioration of mental capacities.

Dear God, that would be horrible! That would mean that eventually people would become shambling, mindless hoards.

This is why I got out of Bio (other than I sucked at remembering the difference xylem and phloem0. Everything eventually leads to zombies.

I personally find Chem a lot more fun, with the balancing of equations and whatnot.

Either way, bad news.

The balancing equations part was the only part of chemistry I liked, the rest made my head hurt.
