Life gets stupid sometimes.  I came back to my computer after my 6 year old has been using it, and he's been visiting god alone knows what sites -- Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokémon, Star Wars, Transformers.  You know.  The usual.  But he's obviously logged himself in somewhere and wanted to remember what his password and user name was.  So he wrote himself a ( Read more... )

That hand? Freaky as all get out. Eep.

Good lord, your boy hasn't been talking to my two has he? I caught them out back the other day 'stalking' our black dog. They're (only 5yrs) & not allowed to watch SPN but they do come across snippets - and consequently think hunting monsters is just the best god damned job evah!

And since I adore irezumi and love to share Not Work Safe

Ooooh, those are some nice tatts. I lived in Japan for a couple of years and we'd joke about the yakuza guys (one of my pals worked in a bar -- we lived in a rough neighbourhood of Osaka -- and tons of yaks hung out there). You could always recognize them because they'd be missing a few fingers (they'd get all proud of themselves about it too, especially if they were really drunk...*shrugs*), be wearing really nasty white suits or white shoes, and had what was known as 'panch-a perm-as' (permed hair). Naaaas-tee. But on the beach? Oh yeah, man. Those tatts.

Um, and yes, I believe our boys are all receiving orders from the same mothership. Time to break out the holy water.

my son does that to me all the time -- i'll be thinking of something, and i never say one peep about it, but the next thing I know, he's talking my own thoughts back to me. he's been doing it since he was old enough to talk. and even before that, we'd share nightmares.

sounds weird, i guess, and a little incredible.
but once you have kids, you start to get that more things are possible than maybe you ever really realized. i did, anyway. :)

The one that freaks me out is when I hear them in the next room, and one of them's giving shit to the other, and THEY'RE USING MY VOICE. All of a sudden, it's me, spouting forth -- and I'm all, 'no way I sound like such a bitch'. But it's true.

Incredible things happen to me all the time, not always to do with the kids, mind you. But they're awfully good at making you feel old like a mondobitch insane like a million bucks. God love 'em, little creeps.
