I am typing this from a Mac. I will be using one for the next three weeks. So how do I use this thing? I am about a decade behind on using a Mac. Must fight the urge to right click.
If your mouse doesn't come with a right button, you access the windows equivalent thereof through Ctrl-Click. To open browser windows in a new tab, Command-Click. The Terminal program is located under Applications/Utilities. That's the major parts.
The Apple menu on the top left. The second to last item is "Shut Down..." The elipsis indicates that there's a dialog to follow (in this case the confirmation). For the record, the last item is Log Out.
