I'm new here but I found this story on another website and followed you here. I have spent the last three days binge reading this absolutely FANTASTIC story. You have done an incredible job on this piece and I cannot wait for the next chapter! Truly am loving this story already an I get a sense that things are just getting started. I can't praise this enough. I might go back and read from the begging again if there isn't an update in the next few days just so I don't have to go too long without this great story!!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your taking the time to say so, it's greatly appreciated. 😊

The dread!lurgy has sadly mangled my productivity somewhat (or perhaps that's the WFH hubs (lol), but I'm still alive and kicking. The next chapter can't take but so long... 😉

I hope you are doing ok. I know you have been ill. But my love for this story is very great and I was wondering how the next chapter (Chapter 122) is coming along?

No, hun, you're not a pain in the bum. ❤️ Things may have gone from bad to catastrophic, jury is still out. Gather we'll know more in a week or two.

If you PM me an email, I'm happy to mail you part of the next chapter. (I think it needs to go up in two parts anyway due to size, and the editing always takes forever the longer it gets. (Oddly, it isn't a linear increase.) The first part should be done(ish) enough (if you don't mind a lack of formatting) by tonight or tomorrow.) PMing any of my accounts with an email addy will do. 😊

Back to reading after an accidental hiatus and I'm still in love. I hope you're feeling at least a tiny bit better. <3

Hello! We are slowly but surely rereading this once again. I noticed updates have slowed a bit and I’m hoping you aren’t unwell. I know life can get busy and this year has been crazier than most. This is in no way a complaint. We just wanted to encourage you that we really love your writing and appreciation how much time and effort has obviously gone into this work. We look forward to reading more and we hope you are well. ❤️

I just binged this in 3 days and I am in awe of your writing abilities! I’m eagerly awaiting future chapters. Is there any way to sign up for notifications?

Thanks! That's very nice to hear. 😊 There are a couple of ways to get notified, livejournal or dreamwidth accounts are the easiest, facebook also works (somehow. I'm not on FB, so I'm fuzzy on the details), and I've been good about tweeting when put out a new chapter.

Just double checked. When you aren't logged in, at the top of the page there's a "subscribe" button that offers you some options, including FB, twitter (which would suggest it's not dependent on my remembering my twitter password; good to know. lol) and google.

Thanks so much! Thank goodness it’s not dependent on me remembering my ancient and likely embarrassing LJ account details 🤣 hope you are staying safe during these crazy times!

There has never been a better time to hermit. I'm discovering it suits me... 😉

I definitely hear you on that count. 😐 The biggest threat to password security is lack of password diversity, and yet the biggest threat to account access is precisely that password diversity... Conundrums.

Hey, as someone who had an account "back in the day", I'd suggest checking https://haveibeenpwned.com/ to see if there are related accounts of yours that are under threat. (Deliberately not clicky, go ahead and google them if you're feeling unsure, and all they want is the email you used to register... wherever, so nothing too risky.) Background: a bazillion years ago, something somewhere was cracked (LJ denies it was them, and might even be right on that count; either way, this much later, blame is immaterial), but the fact remains there are lists of old LJ accounts and credentials for sale, and that lack of password diversity threatens other logins / accounts. I've explained it in a little ( ... )
