Miss Buffy Summers happens to be sitting in her office, getting used to her new desk.

It's been a while since she's been behind a desk. In fact, it's been a while since she's done the guidance counselor thing, period. It seems like forever ago that she was doing this in Sunnydale, and now that she's getting the chance to do it here under similar circumstances? It feels good.

It feels really good.

So she's sitting at her desk, adjusting her pencil holders, computer, and assorted desk materials while she waits for a student to arrive. She's not expecting a lot of traffic on the first day of school, but who knows? She might get someone.

Soon-ish.

... She has a feeling she's going to be really bored.

"We do need a new Bronze," she says with a nod as she watches him go. "And I will see you after."

Well, as long as he half-pays attention enough to graduate, Buffy will be proud.
