It's a general community, not very busy, for newbie Kindlers to ask questions, get tutorials and advice. Those of us with experience also ask one another questions if we run into something new. Sometimes people come ask questions if they're thinking about buying one. There are a lot of good links for books on the sidebars of the community.

LOL! Yes, those are all converted for Kindle. They should open in the Mobipocket Reader once you download that.

If your computer stays confused, wait until your Kindle arrives. Did you get the K2?

I do like books, but I read on the computer SO often anyway. The appeal of being able to carry about a ton of books and fic in my purse wins out.
