I'm generally completely out of the loop when it comes to this stuff but I happened to read the thread on banning posters just before they shut the CC boards down.  So I have some clue of what is going on this time.   It's a bummer and I hope the boards come back up after this all blows over.  However, I guess this is the push I needed to finally

Ok...wow what happened over there? I've been so busy with my parents in town for Christmas.

I don't know all the details, but apparently 4 people were banned a couple days after Christmas (if I remember correctly, it was lml, southerner, MLA, and laywerlee) and no one knows why exactly. Some people were saying it was because of something they said on some other site, maybe here- I don't know. There was a thread in technical support or something about banning people and everyone was talking about it and demanding that Katy explain why she banned them. But she never posted a reply. Then someone posted a way to google something like "miserable user" and "tachy goes to Coventry" or something like that and it went directly to a post that Katy made on some other board about using those features on people on CC. Right after that was posted, the boards went down. I happened to just finish reading the thread before it was shut down. Crazy.

wow...such drama. I was trying to read up about it on the WC on LJ community. Sad....I love the boards. I get so much useful (and useless) information there.

So is *that* what happened? I saw the banning part on the WC on LJ but didn't see the rest of what you posted. Crazy. Hope it all gets resolved soon. I've actually had the work the past couple days!

So how was Millie's Xmas? Did she enjoy opening her gifts? Audrey loved it, but Veronica got sidetracked by the first toy she opened.

I read most of that on CC in the Banning Members thread. Yeah, it really crazy and I'm not sure who is telling the truth in this whole thing, you know? Not that it really matters because I don't "know" any of the people involved, but I guess I'm just nosey:)

Millie had a ball on Christmas. We weren't sure how she'd handle it because we had a pretty full day planned, but she napped in the car between stops and stayed up about 2 hours later than normal and she seemed to have a lot of fun all day. Plus she made out like a bandit as far as gifts go. We used to just have like 6 or 8 toys floating around the house. Now we have an entire toy box filled in the living room and another one that's half filled in her bedroom. I guess that's what happens when you're the only grandchild on both sides:p
