When the definition of a term is that it defies definition, I think you need to be wary.

Particularly when its own definition says that it can't be entirely true.

It's like Godel's uncertainty principle for literature.

... I mean Godel's Incompleteness Theorem. My brain must not have been functioning yesterday. Must've been all the assignments. Or perhaps the brownies I made last night (bringing half the batch with me!) revived my thought processes.

I always found postmodernism to be quite pretentious and smug. Talk about always having an easy exit in an argument *wince*.

Hey Bets,

I hadn't actually got around to telling you that I wouldn't be making it over to Canada for Christmas. I hope you had assumed that. New job = no annual leave accrued. Hope you have a fabulous white holiday season and I'll catch up with you when you get back into the country.
