I'm in Canada. I don't have too many Steampunk things or doggles but I like the subgenre... it's just the rampant elitism annoys the piss outta me. And I think I've proven the point that elitism is only useful when the topic at hand is consistent and not 'if they believe it's steampunk then it is' which is a big steaming pile of Bullshit.

i've got an excellent friend who is pretty much entirely composed of win, in edmonton. she's more into the EBM scene. i want to get up there at some point and take a nice leisurely driving tour through the Sensible Lands.
