Ohhhh, poor River ={! Brilliant fic, though =)! I love it that Jack was the one who found her and took her back to the Doctor :]. The idea of Jack and River knowing each other makes for some very interesting possibilities :)! *Nods* Loved the cameo by the Silence, too, and the dialogue is wonderful 8)! So much emotional intensity in all of it, and like another poster said, we don't often see that from either River or Jack, so it's all the more moving when we do. Great job 8)!

OMG! I loved loved loved this!! Every single bit! Drunk River, Jack and timey winey, my ass!! It's brilliant! I felt nothing but pure joy while reading it. Okay, so maybe that makes me a masochist. Perhaps I do enjoy a little angst more than I should. Well, I just can't help it. And this was just the right amount.

I love this. The atmosphere you've created is fantastic, and Jack is the perfect person to help River in this situation. Love their interactions, and the little bit of hope at the end :)

This is great! I ship Jack/River like no tomorrow and I loved that aching sense of his love for her and for the Doctor. The descriptions of River through his eyes were so vivid - "the embodiment of Kali, goddess of death."
