The Time Has Come?

As the numbers in my blood pressure readings inch ever upward, I wonder what the appropriate number is where I can finally say "Dear CRS doctor, you're making me worse. I'll be leaving now."

My regular doctor put me on Apri, which elevated my blood pressure to borderline high. Okay, said the CRS doctor, that's not bad, but we should probably change ( Read more... )

I've been on Apri for almost two years.

Your doctors do nothing for my faith in western medicine. What happens with no birth control at all?

Whoa, Apri for everyone. As far as I know, 80% of the females of fertile age at work are (or have been) on Apri as well.

I couldn't tell you what happens with no birth control at all. Now that everything is back on a tidy schedule, it might stay that way without any "outside help." Then again, it could also be a return to the blood-soaked nightmare that made this whole treatment thing necessary.
