The Grand Vizier's First Challenge!
Well, here I am a co-mod, and I’ve done nothing constructive yet! Not an auspicious beginning, I admit. So, what say we have a little fun (and more than a little pr0n), eh?
I am kicking off my first challenge here at BestMeats with something tremendously obvious, THE GREAT PUMPKIN PR0N CHALLENGE! What’s that mean? It’s simply a way to have some pr0n stories centered on the celebration of Halloween (or a like holiday), of course (so you needn’t include the Great Pumpkin, a la Charlie Brown).
And here's a twist: If you are of a culture that celebrates something similar, but not quite the same as Halloween, you may use that as your prompt. So if you celebrate Dia De Muertos, that would be acceptable, as well. Perhaps we can all learn a bit about each other's cultural traditions!
This challenge is also for you artists out there. I think some nice Halloween pr0n art would be wonderful as well!
According to my British sources, Halloween is not celebrated in quite the same way on the isles as it is here in the colonies, thought you may feel free to check with your own sources. Trick-or-Treating doesn’t appear to be common in the UK. Still, from canon we can assume certain UK/US similarities (bats, jack-o’-lanterns, etc.). We know there was always a feast at Hogwarts. All you have to do is incorporate these into your story. Or maybe our favorite boys visit the States for some reason, and attend a costume party (a “fancy-dress” party, for you folks across the pond).

-The only variation in the standard rules are: minimum 500 words, and the story should center on Halloween (or a like holiday) and it’s celebration.
-Deadline for submission will be, of course, October 31, 2007.
