i used to beat my kid all the time in some damned mario racing game and was quite proud of holding my own against a 5 y-o.

that is, until i heard him confiding to his sister that he let me win so i wouldn't feel bad.

i took some comfort in raising such a thoughtful child.

but, still...
sheesh.
