Dear Gawd, I love Doomsday.

You are never to old to learn an instrument. I have A LOT of students from college age and older. (I have a 78-yr-old vocal student!) My good friend Laura (as seen in the Bri-gade pic in my wedding anniv. entry) was my student first. 20 years old, an English major who decided she needed to learn to play violin! lol

I know I'm never too old to learn, but I just wish stupid things like money were not a factor because I want to learn now, haha. I mean, I'd need access to an instrument, and I wouldn't dare try and teach myself (I've read a lot about all of the ways THAT can go wrong). One day... (hopefully I'm not 78!! That's sixty years from now.)

Agreed with Khalia about the instrument-envy! I only learned piano and a bit of clarinet when I was in junior high (band). I can still play piano, but clarinet? Haven't touched one in aaages!

Can you transcribe? You should totally if you can! So I can learn how to play his songs tooo! :P Oh, and it'd be super cool if we all got together (one day...) and you gave us lessons! haha!

Speaking of writing though... I'm glad you've been inspired! I wish I could say the same... Though I do plan on settling down sometime this weekend to work on it. One of those "lazy" moments which seems to be all moments =__=;;

Aw! *blushes* and YES I can transcribe...finding the time to do it is a whole different story! But yeah, Last Song is fairly simple to play. Hoshi no Suna's pretty awesome too! ^_^ I'm sure there are transscriptions out there all ready...lemme look! I'll post it in my next entry. ^_~

Oh cool, that'd be awesome fun! I managed to find a partial transcription for Versailles' Serenade :) I can play, but I'm really bad at listening and playing by ear.
