Please, let me unsee it...acaciaonnastikOctober 11 2007, 15:03:41 UTC
I blame you for the fact that I just spent half an hour looking through that archive, because it couldn't possibly be as bad as all that, right? and because I had to see these webbed breasts.
And it was worse. The defiance of gravity! The poses! The uniboob!
Though, deiseach? Don't think you're off the hook, either.

Bleeprin, somebody?
Here ya go. Saved from my last visit to GAFF, which I must confess was easier on the brain than this picture (though, suddenly I have an urge to go find pictures of male tummies to admire).
*giggling madly* *am older than twelve, dammit* :D
There, there, dear Acacia. Judicious and copious ingestion of Bleepka will make the bad images go away.
And besides, you almost have to admire the perverse ingenuity of someone in this day and age, when boobs in both fictive and real depictions are all over the place, not being aware of how the female form is actually shaped. It's nearly admirable, in a Bizarro world way.
Though it should still be severely discouraged, say by dangling the artist head-down over a pit of scorpions. Giant mutant angry hungry scorpions who are having a bad stinger day.

I was half expecting a handshaped cup this time though, because then you can have the witchcup look like it's reaching up from behind, with no visible straps at the front, which would be both ridiculously rude AND match the whole supportless bosom holders superheroines are always wearing.
Oh, great Shub-Niggurath, yes!!!deiseachOctober 11 2007, 17:54:04 UTC

That is so stunning an example of sheer genius that yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, I want to see it!
And I mean, there would be absolutely no wrong signals being given out about WitchCup's wielder's (?) wearer's sexuality, because the hand is a symbol of strength, creation, the active principle, and all that good stuff which is so essentially *masculine* and which girls cannot access due to the unfortunate quality of femaleness, yes?
Indeed, a question needing to be handled with due gravitasdeiseachOctober 11 2007, 19:15:29 UTC
I suppose, if he is American, and it would seem most likely that he is, then it is more likely than not that he has been, even with the growing protest against what is seen as genital male mutilation (remember our friend David and how he say feminists don't bother to decry male circumcision as on a par with female circumcision

"The Witchblade is an intelligent, ancient, and conscious weapon with extra-terrestrial origins. It is only one of thirteen other weapons. It is the offspring of the universe's opposing aspects, the Darkness and the Angelus (the dark and the light). The Witchblade is a male aspect created to act as a balance, which must have a female as a host."
Ergo, the WitchCup being the female aspect which must have a male as a host is therefore also an "intelligent, ancient and conscious weapon".
(I think the red jewel comes more from copying the style of the WitchBlade armour, but intentional or not, now that you've made the suggestion, that's a fantastic development... it's alive, it's aware, and it's loooooking at you....)

The trick is getting the rhythm right. Swig, swallow, shudder, start over.
