I'm a "Highly Sensitive Person"...I think

When I paint I have a lot of time to think. Part of my brain focuses on the task, which can at times be menial and repetitive (fill in this large area with paint....fill in these small areas with paint, etc), so mostly the rest of it buzzes through different topics

woah! i did not know i had been classified as a personality trait. my doctor told me once that i was a lot like her sister - very sensitive. so, that has been my running joke for the past 6 mo. or so. anytime i am not pleased with something i say "it must be because i am so *sensitive*"
