In making sure of the exact wording, I ran across stuff online that said the "six impossible things" exercise can aid creative thinking and getting people to stretch their goals. As you can see from my first set, this can apply to fiction writing where all kinds of impossible characters and such that didn't happen, suddenly "do" -- at least in the imagination, then shared in text. Then, like how we "know" what happened in Star Wars or Superman, they become as real as anything else in our world. The impossible made possible.

Hahahaha. I loved both of these points of humor, inside what was largely a thinkpiece. And I sure hope some of the other things listed here are NOT impossible, but they sure feel that way sometimes.
